Communicate!

I just discovered your channel on iTunes. There are very few things we actually can say that we love, but this radio station is truly awesome! This station is meant for this time. For the end times, supernatural and manifestation as well as prophetic and for the paving the way for our Lord, King of Kings to come back to earth!!! The generation of the Glory of God being manifested into the world, into our homes thru this station!! My prayers and financially you will be supported!

I am so thankful that I have come upon your wonderful praise and worship Streams. I have been distressed that most of what is called praise and music is singing about God but not to Him. Your music is able to reach into the heavenlies. God bless you and all of the wonderful worship musicians. Baruch Haba b'shem Adonai...

I am so blessed by ElijahStreams!!! The 'Tent' and 'Soaking', oh my, enter in! What did I do before???...

It's been awhile since I told you how much Elijah Streams blesses me, so here I am telling you again. Your station has the absolute best music of anyone - and this is not an exaggeration! I sent a small donation online today to show my appreciation - wish it could be more.

I found Elijah streams on iTunes radio and listen to it every day at work. The music connects me to our Lord and the scripture is almost like a message straight from our Lord sometimes.

I listen to streaming radio on the internet daily. I have about 3 favorite Christian stations. NO LONGER. I came across you guys this morning! I cannot even describe my feelings about your music, but you know, as my feelings are those of many. I'm not turning from ElijahStreams again! There have already been 3 songs this morning in the short time I have been listening that have taken me into His presence in an amazing way. Hallelujah!

Wow...what a blessing !!!!! Thank you so much!!!!! Deeper and deeper into His presence I'm drawn as I listen to the music!!!! What a wonderful Lord we have !!!! God Bless each and everyone of you that are a part of ElijahStreams!!!!

Dear ELIJAHSTREAMS Listeners:

June 2009:

As I add some more new music to our rotation, I wanted to clarify something in case some were wondering.

Why We Play "Horizontal" as Well as "Vertical" Songs…

While ElijahStreams is primarily a worship or "vertical" oriented station, occasionally you may hear songs that have more of a relational emphasis. By relational I mean "horizontal," and by "horizontal" I mean that they are songs about what we may be experiencing in life as we hold onto the Lord.

Obviously, God can use whatever means He desires for impacting His children's hearts; it may be a beautiful worship song, or it may be a deep but encouraging song about "where you live" and what you're going through right now.

One of those more "horizontal" songs I've added recently is one by Jars of Clay, from their new recording: The Long Fall Back to Earth. The song is called Safe to Land, and it comes from the perspective of asking for forgiveness, and wanting to work on and heal a broken relationship or marriage.

Having seen so many marriages come to a tragic end, it is heavy on my heart. But when I heard this song, I felt God could really use it to bring hope and maybe eventually restoration to a marriage that's been strained, and is perhaps at the point of breaking.

Some of the lyrics in Safe to Land are:

…I guess forgiveness hasn't happened yet
There are no words I can say to you
To turn the careless sky from black to blue
So I'm asking you, is it safe to land?...

Cause I'm not going far on an empty heart…
Cause the Long fall back to earth is the hardest part…

And if you say that I can come around
I'll love you right, I won't let you down…

Cause I'm coming home, I'm waking you up
In the middle of the night, I'm not giving up
I'm gonna stay till we make it work
We're not going down even if it gets worse
We'll work it out, we'll work it out…

(Jars of Clay-2009)

This is just one example of a more "horizontally-oriented" song we might play on ElijahStreams.

Really, my philosophy on the music we play is very similar to the motto of the Salvation Army: "Heart to God, hand to man." Vertical and horizontal in ministry.

Please visit our TOP 20 Songs list for some of the most current songs in our very large rotation, and don't forget to add us to your TWITTER account for occasional updates, on songs, station status and more.

As always, thank you so much for listening, praying for and supporting ElijahStreams i-Radio.
